Correspondence with Bishop Mark Hanson and SEPA Synod Leadership
This document contains 10 months of letters to leaders of the national church and SEPA Synod. Bishop Hanson responded to our first letter in March 2008. All other correspondence has been totally ignored at every level.
Annual Report and
5-Year Plan

Following the failed attempt to unite with Epiphany Congregation, Redeemer's Council immediately went to work charting a new direction for our congregation. This comprehensive five-year plan was presented to Synod leadership on November 1, 2007. We received no criticism of our plan or any response at all. It has since been approved by the entire congregation.

Report on
Our Swahili Ministry
The National Church learned of our Kiswahili Ministry and asked us several specific questions. This report resulted from their interest. It was produced in February 2008.

Talking Points:
This document refutes the synod's claim of diminished numbers, which they have used as a basis for attempting to seize our property and assets. It compares our statistics today with our parish statistics in 1998, the last time the synod attempted to use diminished numbers to take control of our assets. Look for yourself -- our numbers are many times stronger than ten years ago! We are a vibrant and growing Christian community!

Dec. 26, 2007 Report to Trustees
We took the time to report our many successes over the holiday season to the trustees and to communicate our plans. This letter was not acknowledged.

Jan. 24, 2008 Letter to Bishop and Trustees
Having heard nothing from either the bishop or trustees since our meeting on November 1, 2007, we wrote to the bishop and trustees reminding them of our growing ministry and the need to formalize our call to Pastor Mutashobya. This letter was not acknowledged.

Letter to Synod Council on Report presented to Synod Assembly
This letter was sent to all Synod Council members protesting the report of the trustees read to the Synod Assembly in May 2008. It points our important glaring omissions and corrects many incorrect statements and erroneous conclusions reached from incorrect or select data. No Synod Council members responded.
